Technical definition
IPv6 configuration on Cisco IOS means turning on IPv6 forwarding with ipv6 unicast-routing, giving interfaces global unicast addresses (each IPv6 interface also has a link-local address), and adding static routes with ipv6 route so that routers can forward IPv6 between networks.
