Website Status Checker

Enter a website address to check whether it's up right now, and how fast it answered.

How it works

The RouteLearn server sends a real HTTP request to the address you enter. It times how long the response takes, and follows any redirects along the way. Sometimes no response comes back at all. That can happen if the domain doesn't resolve, the connection is refused, or it times out. When that happens, the tool reports the site as down and show the specific reason.

FAQ

A site works fine for me. Why would this ever show it as down?
This tool checks from the RouteLearn server's location on the internet, not from your device. A site could be genuinely down for everyone. It could also be blocked in your specific region, or briefly unreachable because of a DNS or hosting issue that clears up moments later. Checking from a second location is exactly why tools like this exist.
What counts as "up"?
Any real HTTP response counts as up, even an error page. That's because it proves the server is running and answering requests. The status code, shown alongside, tells you whether that response was a success or an error. That's a separate question from whether the site is reachable at all.
Why does the response time matter?
It's a rough sign of server or network slowness. A single check isn't the full picture, since traffic and routing vary. But a consistently high response time across repeated checks is worth investigating.
