OSPF

How OSPF routers become neighbours, share their link-state databases and elect a designated router, then how to configure, verify and fix single-area OSPFv2 on Cisco IOS.

Intermediate · 4 lessons

Start with the OSPF overview if OSPF is new to you: it explains link-state routing, the LSDB, SPF and cost in a few minutes. This course goes deeper, covering single-area OSPFv2 as the CCNA 200-301 exam expects. Every lesson uses the same three-router lab (R1, R2 and R3, the routers from the Routing course), so you can follow the configuration from the first hello to a fully working network with a default route to the ISP.
